We recommend using roasted coffee after a waiting period known as degassing. During this natural process, roasted coffee beans release gases, mainly carbon dioxide, which takes a few days to a couple of weeks.
- Brewing coffee too soon after roasting can lead to excessive gas, causing uneven extraction and resulting in a bitter or flat taste.
- Weak aroma and taste, with the coffee’s full flavor not yet fully developed.
- Issues during brewing can ruin the crema in an espresso machine. For pour-over, it can hinder proper water absorption in the coffee grounds.
We sell freshly roasted coffee, and by the time it reaches you, it's typically 5 to 7 days old, depending on the delivery transit time. Our coffee is roasted in batches, so the longer the order is process takes, the fresher the roast you receive.
For the best flavor, consume freshly roasted whole beans within 2-4 weeks of the roast date, or up to 6 months if stored properly. Unopened beans stay fresh for up to a year when stored in an airtight, cool, dark, and dry place. Once opened, they’re best enjoyed within a few weeks. Ground coffee loses its flavor much faster — ideally, brew it within 15 to 30 minutes of grinding.
Airtight Container: Store coffee beans in an airtight container to protect them from air, moisture, heat, and light, which can degrade the flavor.
Cool, Dark, Dry Location: Keep your beans in a cool, dark, and dry spot to preserve their freshness.
Skip the Fridge or Freezer: Though some recommend freezing coffee beans, it’s generally discouraged as it can impact the taste.

Order Processing & Shipment
Order processing typically takes 4 to 5 business days, excluding weekends. However, this may be shorter if all items are ready for packing or longer during peak seasons or if supplies are limited.
Delivery times are as follows: 4 to 5 business days for standard shipping, 2 to 3 business days for Cebu area, and a few hours for local delivery through Maxim or Lalamove. Store pick-up is available anytime once your order is marked as ready. Please note this covers delivery transit only and does not include order processing time.
No, the delivery service is subject to availability based on who can pick up your order at the time of booking. We mainly use Lalamove for safer handling and accurate tracking. You can book your own delivery service rider and choose pick-up on checkout page as alternative.
